Vendor Dashboard Overview

Vendor Dashboard gives you an overall summary of your store and activities. From this dashboard, you can easily manage your stores and also get quick insights. Besides that, it will provide suggestions on how to make your store more appealing to your customers.

You can find an overview of your store, page view, orders, earnings, reviews and products. There is also an announcement section. It displays all the latest notice or announcement from admin.

Store Settings

In the vendor dashboard settings, vendor can easily customize his/her store. And vendors can setup online store based on his/her settings.

 

Store banner will represent vendor products concept by one big image. Vendor could use a good visual interactive image to grab the attention of customer. Vendor will set the image from Vendor Dashboard→Settings→Store page.

For better contact between vendor and customer store settings has contact information insert form combined of phone number, email address, physical location information, biography and location map.

 

 

 

Payment Settings

The vendor can set his comfortable payment method for the store. For bank transfers, just add bank account name, account number, name of the bank, address, and finally swift code. Now, save the settings by clicking the Update Settings button.

 

 

 

Shipping Settings

This page contains your store-wide shipping settings, cost, shipping and refund policy. You can enable/disable shipping for your products. Also you can override these shipping costs while creating or editing a product.

The shipping zones are already defined, you just have to add the shipping methods to each zone.

To add a shipping method to a zone, click on “Add Shipping Method

In the “Select States” box, you can leave the field empty and for the “Limit zip/postal codes” option, you can leave the original settings.

Click “+ Add Shippind Method

 

 

A popup opens and displays the list of shipping methods in the drop-down menu.

Select the method and click “Add Shipping Method

You can add one or more shipping methods on the same area (for example: Free delivery, Flate rate and Local pickup)

 

After adding one or more shipping methods you can edit them to set the shipping costs.

Click “Edit” and a popup will appear.

In the settings you can rename the shipping method name and set the base shipping price.

Below you can also define the prices according to the classes.

Once you are done, click “Save Settings“.

 

Social Profiles

Social profiles help you to gain more trust. Consider adding your social profile links for better user interaction. You can link every social networking sites with your store from this page. Dokan has simple view and easy to link up format with store setting for the vendors.

Create a product from the Vendor dashboard

To create a product, navigate to the vendor dashboard. And then click on Products from the left menu. After that click on the Add New Products button from the top right corner.

You’ll get a new window where you will be able to create a new product giving all the details only.

 

 

 

Basic Details

The common information about a product are the title, price, description. Discount price is optional. You can even schedule discounts for a certain amount of time. You can enter a starting date and end date to apply automatic discounts to your product.

Both the categories and tags have to be created by the admin. The vendor can only select them from the frontend dashboard. Because allowing the vendors to create categories and tags might result into duplicates.

You will see a pop-up where you need to select the categories,

Then fill in the description, the price and add one or more photos.

 

Click “Create product” button or “Create & add new” button to finish.

Add variants to your products

A variable product is a product that has different types of variants. For example, you might want to sell a dress which is available in 3 different colors and sizes. So this option will enable you to add those colors and sizes you need. You can add variations based on anything you like, perhaps material used or the stitching style.

To Add variants click on “Edit” to edit your product.

 

 

Enabling Variations

Here, we are creating a variable product. So, select Variable from the Product Type drop-down menu.

 

 

Creating Attributes

Now scroll down to the Attribute & Variation section from where you can manage different variations and attributes for your variable product.

You can select existing attributes & variation from the drop-down menu or create your own if you cannot find the one(s) you need in the list.

You can create a new attribute by selecting Custom Attribute and click on the Add attribute button. Now, provide the attribute Name and their values. You can create more values by entering ‘|’ character after providing a value.

 

 

Now, to create new variations of your product from the provided value, select Create variations from all attributes. You can also create single variables according to your requirements by selecting Add variation option. After choosing your option, click on the Go button and it will generate possible variations from your attributes automatically.

 

 

Now, click on the down arrow button of any of the variations that you want to edit. It will open description and SKU option for that variation.

Enter the price, dimensions and SKU for your variation. You can also include shipping class, tax class and variation description for this variation of your product.

You can also remove any of the variations that you do not have available for this product. After you are done with editing the variables, you can save the variation by clicking on Save variations button.

Virtual and/or Downloadable product

If you sell virtual or downloadable products you must check the corresponding box in the product edition.

You’ll get a new window where you will be able to create a new product giving all the details only.

Set shipping costs and taxes

To configure shipping costs and taxes go to the list of products and edit your product.

Click “Edit” to edit your product.

 

 

Add the dimensions and weight of your product

then select a shipping cost class

 

Orders

The order page displays the order detail in the list. This page shows order number, order total amount, earned amount, order status, customer details, order date and order action. you could view order farther details manage order status and delete order from order action.

You can filter the orders by Date. Besides that, you can also export the order list.

 

 

 

Order Status

You can view and process the order status from the order list.

 

 

Order Note

You can add a note to an order and set the note for the private customer. For the customer rating, the customer will receive an email notification for each rating added. And for the private note, only the seller will receive the email notification.

 

 

General Details

In this section, you will be able to view the order status, order date, earning amount from a specific order, customer id, email, phone number, customer IP etc.

 

 

 

Download Permissions

You can manage the download permission if the product is downloadable. You will be able to add or remove download files and control access to download the file.

 

 

Shipment Tracking

You can track the shipment of the product that you are selling. Navigate to your Seller Dashboard → Orders → Click on the order you want to add shipment tracking. At the bottom of the Order, you will find a button titled ‘Tracking Number’.

A new window will pop with three options. You can provide shipping provider name or URL, Tracking number and Date shipped. After providing the information, click on the Add Tracking Details button.

The order details will be updated and a new order note will be added containing the tracking details.

Coupons

Using coupons could be a great way to attract new customers for any particular occasion on your online shop. Suppose, you want to give our customers an offer or discount, so coupon feature will easily help you to create coupons within your online shop.

 

To create a new coupon for your store, navigate to Vendor Dashboard->Coupons. Then click on Add New Coupon.

 

Next, fill the fields with all the details and then Add New Coupon.

 

Essential fields at a glance:

  • Coupon Title: Add the name you want to give your coupon.
  • Description: In this field, you can add what the coupon is about.
  • Discount Type: This drop-down lets vendors select between a percentage and a fixed amount for your discount.
  • Amount: Add the discount amount (percentage/fixed) here.
  • Email Restrictions: Choose to limit the coupon to certain emails if you like. If you insert an email then only customers with that email would be able to use the coupon.
  • Usage Limit: Add the number here if you want to restrict coupon usage to a certain amount.
  • Expire Date: If you would like for the coupon to remain usable only up to a certain time, select the expiry date from here.
  • Exclude Sale Items: Vendors can select this checkbox if they want to opt-out sale items from the coupon offer.
  • Minimum Amount: Select the minimum amount an order should be for a customer to apply for the coupon.
  • Product: Vendors can select one, multiple, or all products they are selling at their respective stores.
  • Apply for New Products: if you check this box then when a customer applies this coupon for a new product then the customer will get discount accoding to that coupon.
  • Exclude products: Vendors can also exclude the coupon from applying to a particular product or multiple products.
  • Show on store: Select this checkbox to display the coupon code on your storefront.

Reports

Reviews

Customer reviews are important and let other customers know if you are a reliable merchant.

The more positive reviews left by customers, the more likely you are to generate more sales.

To find review, vendors will need to navigate to the Vendor Dashboard > Review page.
